Russian SAM system will detect these air targets at a distance of 24-37 km

The latest Pantsir-SM anti-aircraft missile and gun systems (SAM systems) will cope with repelling massive strikes by low-observable multi-purpose SCALP-EG cruise missiles and low-altitude Neptune tactical missiles. This was pointed out by the authors of the Telegram channel Russian Arms.

They noted that this version of the SAM system is equipped with the latest 1RS-3 radar guidance systems based on a reflective phased array antenna with a greatly increased peak power and tracking power. The detection range of targets with an RCS of 0.03 km², which is equivalent to SCALP-EG, is up to 24 km, and 0.2 km² (Neptune) is up to 37 km.

The range of destruction of Neptune missiles by new anti-aircraft guided missiles 57E6M reaches 30–33 km, taking into account the placement of the complex at a height of 15 - 20 m above sea level.

Pantsir-SM is also equipped with small-sized 19Ya6 SAMs, which reduce the intensity of ammunition depletion. Along with the new SAMs, the complex can use missiles from the Pantsir-S1 complex.

In addition, the stealth and noise immunity of combat operations have been increased, and the fire performance per unit of time has been improved. Pantsir-SM is capable of fighting all types of unmanned aerial vehicles, including strike ones.

For firing at close range, the Pantsir has two rapid-firing 30-mm automatic cannons. If necessary, they can also fire at ground targets, in particular at light armored vehicles.

Each Pantsir-SM mobile unit can be used both as an independent combat unit and as part of a battery of 4-6 vehicles, using both the onboard radar and data from a remote command post transmitted via a secure communication channel. Also, depending on the combat mission, the configuration of the complex's weapons can be changed.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that Russian fiber optic FPV drones turned out to be completely invulnerable to electronic warfare at the front lines. The new type of UAV does not require careful selection of position and is protected from video signal interception.
