Rostec will present a robot for skin and soft tissue regeneration using 3D bioprinting at the International Forum "Bioprom-2026". This was announced by the corporation's press service.

The forum will be held in Gelendzhik from October 5 to 6. The central exhibit will be an automated complex based on the Russian collaborative robot DOKA RC5. The equipment is presented by the holding "RT-Development of Business".

How the robot works

Unlike systems that operate on a pre-set template, the complex adapts to the individual geometry of the damage. It scans the defect, forms its three-dimensional model, and then applies a hydrogel composition with living cells layer by layer, repeating the complex surface relief. In fact, the robot "sees" a specific injury and customizes its work to the patient's characteristics.

Other medical innovations from Rostec

The forum will also feature Scandi Pro — the first Russian medical analyzer for determining the composition of urinary stones. Using infrared spectroscopy, the device identifies the components of the stone, helping the doctor establish possible causes of its formation and choose a treatment strategy. The device is manufactured by "RT-MedTech".

Another premiere is the first Russian vaccine for adult revaccination against whooping cough, diphtheria, and tetanus, developed by the Nacimbio holding. In 2026, the drug received a registration certificate from the Ministry of Health. Market launch is planned for 2027, with production organized at the NPO Microgen site in Perm with a planned capacity of up to 5 million doses per year.
