The Russian government plans to allocate 387.8 million rubles for the organization of regular transportation along the Northern Sea Route in 2027. This is stated in the explanatory note to the draft federal budget for 2027–2029.

In 2028–2029, the support amount is 408.2 million rubles. For comparison: 14.16 billion rubles are proposed to be allocated for the creation of space complexes for lunar exploration in 2027, which is 36 times more.

Regular transportation along the NSR ensures northern delivery and cargo transit. However, their funding is incomparable with space expenditures, which shows the budget's priorities.
