Sechenov University and NPO "RMed" have developed Iva ventilators and Kedr anesthesia-respiratory equipment, taking into account the operating conditions of Russian clinics. The products have received registration certificates from Roszdravnadzor, and their serial production has already been organized.

During re-engineering, the devices were refined to account for fluctuations in the parameters of centralized gas pipelines, different types of breathing circuits, and the anesthetics used in clinics.

Kedr is a device for administering anesthetics and supporting breathing. Iva series devices are designed for respiratory support in intensive care, critical care, and patient transportation. Model I30 is used for respiratory support and transportation. I50 is also suitable for use in operating rooms.

The developers worked on the equipment for about two years. Engineers from Sechenov University, together with doctors, improved the design and refined the graphical interface of the devices.

Special attention was paid to resistance to fluctuations in the parameters of centralized gas pipelines. This is critical for life support equipment: it must maintain specified ventilation parameters even with deviations in oxygen and other gas supply conditions.

However, complete independence from foreign components has not yet been achieved. NPO "RMed" plans to fully switch to Russian-made components within three years.
