Russians have become noticeably more active in spending money on mobile games. In Q3 2026, the total volume of payments through RuStore doubled compared to last year, and the number of transactions tripled.

Most purchases are for shooters — about 40% of all in-game payments. They also lead in average check: on average, users spend about 1 thousand rubles per payment. RPGs account for another 25% of transactions, and strategies for 15%.

The most expensive single purchase for the quarter reached 85 thousand rubles. At the same time, the most popular in-game item turned out to be extra moves in match-three games.

Most often, Russians pay for game purchases in the evening. Peak activity occurs around 8:00 PM, and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, money is especially actively spent on puzzles.

RuStore attributes the growth in payments to an increase in the number of games and in-game events. In Q3, the number of applications for moderation of new projects increased by 2.5 times year-on-year. Currently, the store offers over 60 thousand games from developers from 70 countries worldwide.
