Primorye shipbuilders launched the fishing vessel "Lamut" of project 03141, built at Vostochnaya Verf (Vladivostok). This was reported by the press service of the United Shipbuilding Corporation (OSK).

After the completion of outfitting works, specialists will prepare the vessel for sea trials. It will be operated in the Far East.

The crabber "Lamut" was built under the "Quotas for Keel" program. In total, since 2019, with state support, 11 vessels have been built at Vostochnaya Verf.

On board the "Lamut" there are installations for storing and processing crab. The vessel is equipped with advanced navigation and fishing equipment. The capacity of the cargo hold is 257 cubic meters.

The OSK press service noted that the crabber is distinguished by high speed and excellent seaworthiness. This is necessary for the operation of the vessel in the Okhotsk and Bering Seas, where storms with giant waves due to cyclones are frequent. Ice class Ice2 allows the vessel to overcome broken ice no more than 50 cm thick.

In early September, it became known that the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade wants to expand the list of vessels falling under the investment quota program.
