In August 2026, 1,897 new pickups were sold on the Russian market, which is 13.7% more than in the same month of 2025. The most popular brand in this segment was the domestic Sollers (339 units sold). This was reported by the press service of the Autostat agency.

In total, from January to August of the current year, 13,332 new pickups were sold in Russia. This is 1.7% less than in the 8 months of 2025.

This is the first time Sollers has topped the new pickup market in 2026. Such a result was previously recorded in December 2025. In July of the current year, Sollers only reached the third position in the brand ranking.

In August, Chinese pickups GWM (331 units), JAC (294 units), and Foton (241 units) were also in demand. The classic American RAM (153 units) made it into the top five.

Sollers produces a line of frame pickups of the ST series, based on Chinese JACs. It includes the basic all-wheel drive ST6 (JAC T6), the more powerful ST8 (JAC T8), and the flagship full-size ST9 (JAC T9). Their production was established at the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant (UAZ, PAO Sollers owns a controlling stake in the enterprise).
