In Crimea, servicemen who are part of mobile fire groups (MOG) have begun using the latest "Nabat V.3" drone detectors (developed by GoDrone) to scan the air situation in the "dead zone" at an altitude of up to 100 meters from ground level. This was stated by the Center for Unmanned Systems and Technologies (ANO "TsBST").
According to a representative of the organization, Russian engineers have strengthened the defense of the peninsula. Currently, portable "Nabat V.3" systems are used by more than 50 MOGs, as well as on boats patrolling the Black Sea.
Compact devices help MOGs instantly respond to emerging threats in the small and medium sky.
The TsBST explained that standard radars at an altitude of up to 100 m mistake enemy drones for interference. The enemy, however, uses this zone to move small drones and FPV kamikazes.
GoDrone's development detects targets with digital or analog communication at a distance of more than 11 km. In addition, "Nabat V.3" broadcasts video from enemy UAV cameras. Servicemen, as well as border guards of the FSS of Russia, highly appreciate the quality of the detector, the TsBST concluded.
