The Aeromax group of companies has signed an agreement with the Central Election Commission on an experiment to deliver election documentation to remote settlements in Krasnoyarsk Krai. The A-5 aircraft-type drone covers the route in 15–20 minutes, while a car takes 5–7 hours.

The A-5 is designed with a canard configuration, featuring an internal combustion engine with a displacement of 40 cm³ and a power output of 3.7 hp. Its flight range reaches 1000 km, and its endurance is up to 14 hours with a payload of 1.5 kg. The aircraft carries up to 5 kg in two compartments, accelerates to 160 km/h, and operates at temperatures from −30 to +40 °C. Takeoff is performed from a launcher, and landing is by parachute.
The drone can be equipped with a camera, thermal imager, multispectral camera, or magnetometer. Aeromax noted that the use of the drone reduces logistics and security costs, and also speeds up data transfer to higher election commissions.
