The company "NRTK KAPS", which created the tracked robot "Courier", received a patent for a turret – a universal rotating platform for installing and aiming small arms. The development can be used both on stationary objects and on mobile platforms. It allows the installation of small arms of various calibers, automatic and reactive grenade launchers, as well as aiming and surveillance equipment.

The turret consists of a gun carriage, aiming mechanisms, and aiming devices. The upper part of the structure is attached to a plate with a slewing device, which allows the platform to rotate 360 degrees. Stands, gearmotors, and a basket for equipment are attached to the rotating platform.

Between the stands is the gun carriage – a movable part on which the main units are fixed, including a collapsible box for equipment. Clamps are installed on the platform to secure the weapon, as well as an electromagnet with a lever for control. Drive chains provide aiming in two planes. Provision is made for installing ammunition boxes. A feature of the design is the collapsible box and case, which simplifies maintenance and transportation.
