Shvabe Holding of Rostec State Corporation presented new medical developments at City Clinical Hospital No. 40 in Yekaterinburg, the holding's press service reported. Equipment for emergency care and infant nursing was shown to the Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Health, and the Governor of Sverdlovsk Oblast.
Among the new products are the Reanimon respiratory support device for newborns, the AIVL-D artificial lung ventilation device, and the AND A25 automatic external defibrillator. Also presented are resuscitation systems and intensive care incubators for newborns, heaters, and phototherapy devices. The MAIA-01 inhalation anesthesia machine combines the functions of anesthesia, artificial lung ventilation, and monitoring of vital functions.
The hospital's maternity ward has been using equipment from the Ural Optical and Mechanical Plant (UOMZ), part of Shvabe, for several years. In total, 40 units of the holding's equipment have been supplied to the institution. The development of anesthesia-respiratory and neonatal directions is among Rostec's priorities, helping to organize assistance at all stages – from newborn resuscitation to heart rhythm restoration.
