The dry cargo ship "Andrey Osipov" has completed its dry dock repair and left the M-32 floating dock in Arkhangelsk. Over 14 days, specialists restored the propeller-rudder complex, replaced the propeller shaft, and put the ship's hull in order. The work was carried out by the "Krasnaya Kuznitsa" shipyard – the Arkhangelsk branch of the "Zvezdochka" Ship Repair Center of the USC.

The "Andrey Osipov" belongs to the R-151 project dry cargo ships of the "Igor Ilyinsky" type. The vessel was built at the Spanish shipyard Astilleros Reunidos Del Nervion in Bilbao and entered service in 1994. The ship's length is 132.71 meters.

After leaving the floating dock, the dry cargo ship is ready to return to operation on northern routes. For vessels operating in northern latitudes, the integrity of the hull, steering gear, and propulsion complex is of particular importance.

The M-32 floating dock continues to receive other vessels. Before the "Andrey Osipov", the tanker "Bukhta Nordvik" underwent repairs here, where its hull was restored and damaged plating elements were replaced.
