Parus Electro (part of Rosatom), together with Elektroschit Samara, is implementing a project to build two solar power plants in Zabaykalsky Krai — Polevaya and Lugovaya. Their total installed capacity will be 274 MW. The commissioning of the stations is planned for 2029.

Parus Electro will supply 18 proprietary network inverters, each with a capacity of 1.5 MW, as well as DC cabinets that combine the outputs of solar panels, for the facilities. The inverters convert the direct current generated by solar panels into alternating current with the parameters required for transmitting electricity to the grid.

Previously, Parus Electro created the first domestic string inverter with a modular architecture, whose efficiency exceeds 98%. The equipment received the highest score from the Ministry of Industry and Trade for its level of localization and import substitution. The inverter operates in a range from –50 to +65 °C, is resistant to unstable voltage in remote areas, and can be serviced without a complete shutdown of the station.

As the company noted earlier, this development was an important step towards technological sovereignty in the field of renewable energy. Serial production of Parus Electro inverters has been launched at a Moscow plant in the Vostochnoye Biryulyovo district. For the enterprise, the project in Zabaykalsky Krai has become one of the largest in the solar generation segment.
