MTS operator has launched two services for child safety. The first is an SOS button in the "My MTS" application: a child can send a message to a parent with a request to connect and transmit their geolocation with one tap.

The function will be useful if the child gets lost, faces a threat, bullying, or a suspicious call. The signal will be received by the family group organizer.

The second service is "Always in Touch". If the account runs out of money and the number is blocked, the child will be given 20 minutes and 20 SMS to communicate with family members. The parent will simultaneously receive a notification about the need to top up the balance.

The additional package is valid for up to 30 days not only in Russia but also in 12 other popular tourist countries. Both services are connected without extra charge for children's numbers on MTS Junior and Junior+ tariffs.

According to the operator's survey, for 56% of parents, the ability to contact their child regardless of the account balance remains the main criterion when choosing a children's tariff.
