Specialists from the Russian Electrotechnical Society (REO) have manufactured sets of the unified electric power system (UEPS) "Trannit" for 4 electric vessels of the "Ecobus" project. The equipment is being prepared for shipment to the Moscow Shipyard.
The UEPS is designed for electric vessels being built for passenger transportation along the Moscow River. It includes a main distribution board, an emergency distribution board, a bidirectional frequency converter for auxiliary needs, and a control system.
REO also developed the "RUMB" software complex for monitoring the UEPS. With its help, key parameters of electric vessels and shore charging stations can be tracked in real time.
The company will supply 4 more "Trannit" sets to the Moscow Shipyard by the end of 2026. In total, this year REO will provide energy equipment for 12 river trams.
The "Trannit" UEPS is necessary for efficient distribution, management, and storage of electrical energy. The system supports slow charging from the grid (70–100 kW) to replenish energy reserves in normal mode and fast charging at specialized stations (up to 2 MW).
