The Borey Design Bureau has developed an air conditioning system for data centers housed in containers. The invention solves the problem of server cooling in confined spaces and when rapid deployment is required.
Inside the thermally insulated container, there is a main room for servers and a technical compartment at one end, separated by a sealed wall. Fan-evaporator units with evaporators and fans are installed in the main space. Compressor-condenser units with condensers, compressors, and refrigerant pumps are located in the technical compartment. The units are connected by pipelines into a single refrigeration circuit.
According to the developers, this scheme increases cooling efficiency and simplifies maintenance: all compressor units are placed in a separate room, which reduces noise and heat generation inside the server room. The system is suitable for mobile data centers that can be deployed in remote areas or on industrial sites.
