Wildberries marketplace is introducing a new tool – a sales simulator. This was announced by the company's CEO, Tatyana Kim, at a press conference on July 22, RBC reports. According to her, sellers will be able to receive payments as if their goods were sold from the warehouse – at the same speed, with the same prices and discounts that would apply under normal conditions.
Small entrepreneurs will be the first to try out the new function – there are about 88 thousand of them, and they will see funds in their balances on July 22. Support packages for medium and large businesses are being finalized. Kim emphasized that a similar mechanism is planned to be used in the future, extending it to other objects.
The simulator will not just return money, but model the market situation – taking into account price dynamics and seasonal discounts, so that the seller does not lose the profit they could have received under normal conditions.
