The PIK-2021.02 army mobile communication complex, developed by specialists from the Minsk Research Institute of Instrument Engineering (OAO "MNIPI"), has been delivered to the Armed Forces of Belarus. It is designed for information support of troops and personnel in field conditions. This was reported by the press service of the State Military Industrial Committee of Belarus.
PIK-2021.02 provides reception and data exchange via GSM channel (wireless communication channel based on the global cellular network standard 2G/3G/4G) and cable networks.
Key features of the complex:
- Reception and display of TV, radio, and internet broadcasting in areas with unstable signals
- Public notification, including in emergency zones
- Cellular signal amplification at the deployment point
- 230 V power transit with a capacity of up to 4 kW
Advantages of the army complex include shock-resistant design, all-weather capability, and rapid deployment (no more than 3 minutes). PIK-2021.02 is equipped with sound amplifiers, which can operate continuously for several hours thanks to built-in batteries.
OAO "MNIPI" is part of the defense industry complex of Belarus. In addition to mobile information complexes, the institute supplies troops with technical information protection devices, generators, and dosimetric equipment.
