KAMAZ plans to enter a new market for itself – the production of humanoid robots. The company is developing anthropomorphic robots with manipulators that replicate the proportions of human hands and can perform operations requiring precise movements. This was stated by KAMAZ Technical Director Vitold Komorovsky.

The creation of such robots within the company became a pilot project. It is expected that a market offering may appear in late 2026 or 2027.

He noted that KAMAZ, as a car manufacturer, wants to expand its competencies and enter the robotics market with its own development.

According to company materials, the robots are designed to perform operations that people currently do manually.

The robots feature interchangeable grippers to adapt the equipment for different tasks. Teleoperation is also provided – remote control of the robot and teaching it new skills.
