The Russian car market continues to actively update. In June 2026 alone, five new car models appeared in the country. Three of them are passenger cars and two are light commercial vehicles.

In the passenger car segment, three models appeared in the statistics for the first time. These are the domestic crossovers JELAND J7 and Volga K40, as well as the Chinese sedan Jetta VA7.

In the light commercial vehicle (LCV) segment, a new brand, SKM, emerged. The M7 and M9 models, which are produced in both cargo and passenger versions, were included in the statistics.

The SKM brand was created by AvtoVAZ. Production is organized at sites in Tolyatti and Nizhny Novgorod.

Compared to May, the situation has hardly changed. Then, too, five models were released, but the structure was different – more passenger cars and one bus.

The main market trend is the constant updating of the model range, noted Avtostat. New cars appear almost every month, and in different segments simultaneously: from sedans to commercial vehicles.
