The Megadrive company presented the new Megalift PSS-131.18E aerial work platform, mounted on the chassis of the GAZ Sadko Next all-wheel drive truck. The main feature of the novelty is an electrically insulated cradle made of composite material, which allows electrical work to be carried out without disconnecting lines with a voltage of up to 1000 volts.
The model is equipped with a telescopic three-section boom, which provides a working lifting height of up to 18 meters and a maximum outreach of up to 13 meters. The cradle is designed for a load capacity of 250 kilograms, which allows several workers to be lifted with materials and tools. The boom rotation angle is 360 degrees.
The GAZ Sadko Next chassis has a 4x4 wheel arrangement, which ensures high cross-country ability. The truck is equipped with a 4.4-liter YaMZ-53443 diesel engine with a capacity of 149 horsepower and a 5-speed manual gearbox. The total weight of the aerial work platform is about 12 tons, ground clearance is 315 millimeters.
The electrically insulated composite cradle ensures safety when working near power lines. Previously, Ervolt company, together with Megadrive, conducted tests of the lift for working under voltage up to 10 kV, which confirms the high level of safety of the model for the energy industry.
The aerial work platform is designed for construction, installation and repair work, as well as for servicing housing and communal services facilities and emergency rescue services. The model is designed for operation in the temperature range from –40 to +40 °C.
