The portable water filter Aquapor became one of the notable developments at the international exhibition India Homeland Security Expo, which is taking place from June 24 to 26 in New Delhi. Specialists and representatives of potential customers showed increased interest in the device after the presentation by the Kalashnikov Concern.
The developer expects cooperation with Indian partners, as for a country with a population of over 1.4 billion people, the issue of providing the population with safe drinking water remains particularly relevant. The company believes that a compact individual filter can be an effective solution for use in the field and in areas with limited access to clean water. It is also noted that the product has undergone practical testing by the Russian military, where it received positive feedback.
Aquapor uses track membrane technology, which allows purifying water from almost any natural source. The filter removes mechanical and chemical contaminants, bacteria, heavy metals, reduces turbidity, eliminates unpleasant odors and foreign tastes, while preserving essential trace elements for the body.
The device allows drinking water directly from a body of water after immersing the filter in the source. The performance reaches 12 liters per hour, and the resource of one filter is up to 20 thousand liters of purified water, which makes it suitable for long-term operation in autonomous conditions.
