Foreigners massively upgraded T-90 tanks against drones

The Iraqi army installed solid "mangals" on the turrets of combat vehicles

Footage of the Iraqi army has appeared online. T-90 and T-72 tanks have undergone significant improvements in drone protection.

If previously tanks only had anti-drone visors, now they have received solid protection. Apparently, only the view for the driver-mechanic and gunner remains.

How exactly to monitor the situation from behind such a turret is unclear, but it is possible that there is a rear-view camera.

Iraq has 73 T-90 tanks in T-90S and T-90SK modifications. The contract for the supply of these vehicles was concluded in 2017; the entire ordered batch arrived in the country by the end of 2018.
