The enterprise expressed readiness for international contracts for the airliner

KAZ currently faces problems with increasing the production rate of the Tu-214. Plant workers complained that the main hindrance was not machines or personnel, but exaggerated bureaucracy.

By the end of 2026, KAZ planned to build at least four new Tu-214s. However, to date, the plant has delivered only one airliner and another one is under assembly.
