The authorities of Moscow Oblast plan to attract the maximum number of enterprises for the development and production of robots to the region. Within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2026), investment agreements were concluded with five companies. This was announced by Ekaterina Zinovieva, Minister of Investment, Industry and Science of Moscow Oblast.
For the next few years, we have set an ambitious goal to become one of the country's leaders in robot production.
According to the minister, there are no more than 10 companies in Russia that produce robots. The authorities are already negotiating with two companies about locating their facilities in Moscow Oblast. This means that about 80-90% of manufacturers will operate in the region, Zinovieva emphasized.
Moscow Oblast needs such residents, as they form a new economy. In addition, the creation of high-tech industries creates new jobs, the minister concluded.
Currently, there are 3 robotics production centers in Moscow Oblast. These are the "Titan" industrial park in the Leninsky urban district, the "Khimgrad" technopolis, and a site in Solnechnogorsk. Companies such as "Komitas" (warehouse and logistics robots), "Eidos-Robototekhnika" (industrial robotic systems), "Bitrobotics" (delta robots with parallel kinematics), "Valday Roboty" (industrial manipulators), and "New Line Engineering" (robotic cranes and machines) operate here.
