The State Corporation "Rosatom" presented a full line of domestic 3D printers operating on selective laser melting (SLM) technology. According to the industry publication "Strana Rosatom", the series includes three models: the compact RusMelt 150M, the flagship RusMelt 300M, and the most powerful in the line, the RusMelt 600M.
The flagship 600M model is equipped with a large build area and a mechanized complex for unloading and cleaning workpieces. An intelligent real-time melt process control system detects defects, ensuring stable product quality at high printing speeds. The RusMelt 300M combines high performance and optional flexibility, remaining a key model for medium-sized equipment.
The junior 150M model, weighing only 900 kg, does not require a heavy foundation and can be installed in almost any room. At the same time, according to the state corporation, the cost of printing one part on it can be 2–4 times lower compared to large systems due to reduced gas and powder consumption, as well as electricity savings.
Thus, "Rosatom" covers several production niches at once – from laboratory tasks to serial production of metal parts with complex geometries. The RusMelt line is focused on a full import substitution cycle: from a compact printer for rapid prototyping to industrial installations with automatic quality control.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Rosatom presented the compact RusMelt 150M 3D printer.
