United Aircraft Corporation considers it possible to build about 500 aircraft in the next 10–12 years, but first, agreements need to be finalized. This was stated by OAK head Vadim Badeha.
According to him, the first batch of civil aircraft has already been contracted and is in production.
The main parameters for the next batch have been agreed upon; it is necessary to formalize the agreements with airlines in contracts. This volume is realistic, considering the completion of the investment program.
Badeha explained the figure of 500 aircraft by demand from domestic carriers but did not specify which companies he was referring to.
The head of OAK only added that the forecast is based on company estimates and the forecast for the retirement of foreign aircraft.
Recall that the current aircraft industry development program was adopted in 2022, but it has already changed several times. According to the current plan, 994 civil aircraft and 765 helicopters are planned for production by 2030.
