"Vostochnaya Verf" to Deliver 8 Fishing Vessels to Customers by the End of 2026

Vladivostok Shipbuilders Construct Crabbers and Longliners of Projects 03141 and 03142

The shipbuilding enterprise "Vostochnaya Verf" (Vladivostok) plans to deliver 4 fishing vessels and 4 crab fishing vessels to customers by the end of the current year. This was announced on the sidelines of the "Marine Congress - Far East 2026".

The shipyard builds medium-tonnage vessels under the investment quota program. This refers to Project 03141. These vessels are designed for crab and shrimp fishing, storing the catch in seawater, and delivering it to port. They are operated in the northern Pacific Ocean.

Currently, Far Eastern shipbuilders are preparing the crabber "Itelmen" (Project 03141) for sea trials. It is planned to be commissioned soon.

  • Side height — 4.6 m
  • Gross tonnage — 1048 t
  • Cargo hold capacity — 257 cubic meters
  • Crew — 21 people
  • Speed — 13 knots

In late December 2024, the shipbuilding enterprise delivered the lead vessel of Project 03142, the longliner "Nugget", to the customer. Its construction had been underway at Vostochnaya Verf since 2019. The vessel is equipped with a universal complex for processing, freezing, and storing products on board until arrival at port.
