The managed kamikaze drone "Geran-2" with factory number Y80000 was presented at the exposition of "Patriot" Park in Kronstadt. The tactical and technical characteristics of the drone were also shown there for the first time, according to the Telegram channel "Voenny Osvedomitel".
According to exhibition data, without fuel, "Geran-2" weighs between 140–155 kg. With fuel, it weighs from 200 to 250 kg.
The maximum speed of "Geran-2" is up to 190 km/h, cruising speed is 180 km/h. The maximum range is 1800 km, engine power is 50 hp.
It should be noted that military experts claimed that "Geran-2" are capable of flying up to 2500 km, remaining in the air for a long time. However, there are also new models, such as "Geran-4" and "Geran-5".
Their jet engine consumes much more fuel, which usually reduces the overall flight range compared to "propeller" versions.
