Increased hundreds of times: Rostec reveals data on explosive demand for anti-drone systems

The company's own technologies allow controlling thirty protection systems from a single center

Demand for anti-drone protection systems in Russia has increased hundreds of times since the beginning of 2022. This was announced by Natalia Kotlyar, Deputy Director of the Research Institute "Vector" (part of the "Rosele" holding of the Rostec State Corporation), in an interview with the newspaper "Krasnaya Zvezda".

According to her, Rostec today produces a full range of technical means for building multi-level object protection. The product line includes early detection systems, electronic warfare suppression systems, high-order electronic warfare systems, anti-aircraft missile systems, specialized small arms, ammunition, and interceptor drones. At the same time, the corporation is able not only to supply equipment but also to integrate it into a single managed structure.

In particular, Rosele's solution allows integrating up to thirty heterogeneous UAV countermeasures into a single situational center. This makes it possible to coordinate the operation of all protection means in real-time and respond promptly to threats.

As Kotlyar noted, if there is a request from the customer, Rostec can deploy a full-fledged echeloned defense system using exclusively its own developments, and the corporation's software and hardware complex will ensure their integration into a common information field.
