The Project 11356 frigates are impressively armed with the "Caliber" missile system. The ship uses universal launchers, allowing the use of various types of missiles, such as cruise missiles designed to engage ground and sea targets, as well as "Onyx" anti-ship missiles.

An A-190 artillery mount with a 100 mm caliber gun is mounted on the forecastle of the ship. There are also a pair of AK-630 mounts with 30 mm caliber guns.

The "Admiral Grigorovich" often operates in the far sea zone. For example, in December 2025, it arrived on a visit to the Algerian port of Oran.
