BelAZ Unmanned Dump Truck Tests Begin in Belarus

The leading Belarusian manufacturer of dump trucks, OJSC "BELAZ," has begun testing unmanned vehicles at the test site in the village of Sitnitsa, Brest region, where innovative types of equipment are being tested. This was reported by the press service of the auto giant.

BelAZ cooperates with the United Institute of Mechanical Engineering of the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) of Belarus (Minsk) and "InDev Solutions." The IT company has carried out research and development work (R&D) on the project for the development of a component base for "unmanned" mining technology complexes. Its specialists have developed and implemented autonomous control algorithms and data processing solutions.
