In Miass, a Ural 55571 (6×6) chassis from 2002 is up for sale for 4.4 million rubles, which, according to the seller, has undergone a complete overhaul with disassembly to the frame. The condition of the equipment is described as "as close as possible to new", and the car itself is positioned not as "refreshed" before sale, but as fully restored for long-term operation.
According to the advertisement, the restoration was carried out by a specialized company specializing in Ural vehicles and special equipment. During the overhaul, the YaMZ-238M2 engine (240 hp) was completely disassembled, the piston group was replaced, and the cylinder head and attachments were restored.
The gearbox, transfer case, axle gears, balancer and torque rods have been overhauled. The brake and steering systems, electrical wiring, lighting devices, batteries, as well as all rubber products, pipes and hoses have been replaced.
The car is equipped with new IDP-284 tires with a inflation system, reinforced axles and springs. The seller claims that the repair was carried out for resource and work. The chassis is offered as a base for conversion into tankers, drilling rigs, vacuum trucks, dump trucks, timber trucks, as well as for the installation of crane manipulators and special superstructures.
