"Hexa-Crane" Drone Destroys Enemy Shelter: Development by Moscow Engineers Tested in Combat

Operators of the Unmanned Systems Troops (UBS) unit of the Southern Group of Forces tested the latest Russian heavy multi-rotor drone "Hexa-Crane" in combat conditions. This was reported in the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The "Hexa-Crane" drone crew dropped a T-62 anti-tank mine on an enemy shelter. A serviceman of the Russian Armed Forces with the call sign Gera stated that the drone was developed by engineers from Moscow.

During the tests, the "Hexa-Crane" «worked as expected». The soldiers maintain contact with the developers and will pass on recommendations for improving the unmanned system, added Gera.

Servicemen of the UAV units of the Russian Armed Forces use a number of heavy drones. These include "Geran-2", "Forpost-R", "Inokhodets".
