A new van with a non-standard access design was installed on the chassis of the "Valdai 18" truck. The model received double-leaf rear doors that open 270 degrees, and a Swing ("butterfly")-type side door with a central pillar for rigidity, the "Promavto" plant reported.
The van is made of 50-mm sandwich panels made of extruded polystyrene foam with metal cladding. The frame is painted with a polymer-powder composition, the subframe made of 09G2S steel is protected by an anti-corrosion coating. The floor is made of 24-mm plywood.
Dimensions of the internal space: 7300 mm in length, 2550 mm in width and 2750 mm in height. Three lighting fixtures are installed inside, and 16 lashing rings for securing cargo are mounted in the floor.
The model includes side protection devices, a rear underrun bar, plastic fenders with mudguards, and a V-shaped water drain on the roof.
