Over 30 kilometers of overhead communication lines have been moved underground in Crimea as part of the "Clean Sky" program for 2025. According to the "Miranda" company, the work has been completed in Simferopol and Novoozernoye.
“Clean Sky” is an initiative to clear urban space of chaotic overhead wires. Communications, including lines of communication operators, are transferred to underground cable ducts, and obsolete and ownerless networks are dismantled. The project is being implemented in various regions of the country. In Simferopol, work resumed in 2023 with the assistance of the mayor's office, and one of the main partners is Miranda.
Malfunctions in linear cable structures occur approximately 30 times less often than on overhead lines. Direct input of communications from the sewer into houses ensures high speed of connecting new users and reliable protection of the network from external influences.
This year in Simferopol, it is planned to free about 100 apartment buildings from wires. The work will be carried out jointly with residents, management companies and Internet providers.
