The turboprop Il-114-300 completed the longest route in its history

The distance from Hyderabad to Zhukovsky was about 7,000 km

The domestic short-haul Il-114-300 aircraft returned to Russia after the Wings India 2026 exhibition in Hyderabad, having completed its longest route to date. This was reported by the United Aircraft Corporation (OAK, part of Rostec).

The flight along the Hyderabad — Ras Al Khaimah — Makhachkala — Zhukovsky route became the longest for this aircraft. In total, the Il-114 covered about 7,000 kilometers.

The design flight range of the Il-114-300 on the official OAK website is about 2,000 km with 68 passengers. The ferry range without passengers and cargo, with maximum fuel load, is 5,000 km. The direct air distance between Hyderabad and Zhukovsky is about 5,500 km.

The Wings India 2026 exhibition proved successful for OAK and the Il-114-300. The corporation signed a contract for the supply of six aircraft to the private Indian company Flamingo Aerospace.

The head of the Indian aerospace corporation Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Devasri Kutti Sunil, stated that the republic would need more than 200 Il-114-300 aircraft.
