Russia Prepares for Serial Deliveries of MC-21, SJ-100, and Il-114-300

The Ministry of Industry and Trade confirmed that all three models are in the final stages of testing, and the Il-114-300 has almost completed its certification flights

The Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Anton Alikhanov, announced that the country is in the final stage of certification testing for new Russian passenger aircraft - MC-21, SJ-100, and Il-114-300. According to him, mass deliveries of these aircraft to airlines will begin as early as 2026.

In civil aviation, we are currently in the final stage of certification testing for the new line of aircraft MC-21, SJ-100, with the Il-114-300 closest to the end of testing. This year, our companies must certify all these aircraft and begin initial deliveries.

It is worth recalling that the General Director of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) reported that the regional turboprop airliner Il-114-300 has alreadycompleted 99% of the necessary certification flights and will soon complete the entire test program.

The head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade also emphasized that the Comprehensive Program for the Development of the Aviation Industry is constantly being adjusted, taking into account the achieved stages in certification. As key milestones are passed, forecasts for the production volumes of new aircraft are also refined.
