An unusual camper, created on the basis of a Soviet "Ural-4320" truck of the 1984 model, has been put up for sale near Stuttgart. A private owner from the German city of Wendlingen offers a unique car for 26,999 euros (approximately 2.6 million rubles).
The truck has traveled only 20 thousand kilometers and is still equipped with the original diesel engine with a capacity of 209 horsepower. All-wheel drive, three axles and a mechanical gearbox provide high cross-country ability of this car.
The camper is a removable insulated LAK2 container mounted on the "Ural" chassis. The walls of the container are protected by a 24 millimeter layer of insulation. Inside there is a double bed, air conditioning and an autonomous heater with a capacity of 5 kW. Power is supplied by 400 watt solar panels and a 440 amp-hour battery bank. The water tank has a volume of more than 200 liters, and it can be heated both from the heater and with electricity.
Before the sale, the truck was thoroughly serviced: six new tires were installed, all 12 hub bearings were replaced, brake hoses, radiator and fuel system were updated. The tank volume has been increased, an additional fuel filter has been added. Together with the truck, a generous set of spare parts is provided, including a spare cab, fenders and radiator grille.
According to the seller, the truck does not currently have a valid German technical inspection (TÜV), but the car is fully operational and ready for use.
