Sergey Stramous, Deputy Head of Rosaviatsia, noted that \"Superjets\" with French-Russian SaM146 engines play an important role in the air transport system of Russia. The connectivity of the country's regions depends on the high-quality technical support of the machines.

An open exchange of views between the regulator, the manufacturer, cooperation enterprises and SSJ-100 operators allows not only to increase the efficiency of the existing fleet, but also to develop joint approaches and concrete solutions for the successful commissioning of new, fully domestic aircraft.

The Rostec State Corporation added that Russian companies have mastered the service of the aircraft's systems - this allows maintaining the regularity of aircraft departures at the level of 97%.

In total, 159 SSJ-100 aircraft of various modifications operate in airlines. They are used by Red Wings, Rossiya, Azimuth and other carriers.

In addition, UAC is working on a domestic import-substituted version of the \"Superjet\" with PD-8 engines, Rostec added.

The day before, tests of the new PD-8 engine for the SJ-100 aircraft were carried out by flooding with water. The power plant confirmed reliable operation during a downpour, which is considered one of the most difficult weather conditions for the unit.
