In Togliatti, the "Penny Bereg" company, part of the "Polad" group, has started manufacturing seat cushion kits for Lada Vesta and Lada Aura cars. The planned production volume will be up to 150 thousand sets per year.
Investments amounted to 424 million rubles, of which 283 million rubles were provided by the federal Industrial Development Fund (IDF) in the form of a concessional loan under the "Auto Components" program. With the attracted funds from the IDF, the company acquired a high-performance line for stuffing with polyurethane foam (PUF) and a wire bending machine for creating cushion frames.
Polyurethane foam is a durable and long-lasting material that effectively absorbs road irregularities. Cushions made from it are a key element of car seats, providing comfort for drivers and passengers. They have high strength and are able to maintain their original shape for a long time.
The company has mastered the production of three types of cushion kits: Standard, Comfort, and Sports.
The Standard kit provides good elasticity and quickly restores its shape, has high air permeability, is hypoallergenic and moisture-resistant.
The Comfort kit contains specialized cushions with improved ergonomics and functionality. They are made of highly elastic PUF. The kit also includes armrests for added comfort. The Sports kit is designed for active driving, focusing on rigidity and durability.
