The "Zvezda" all-terrain vehicle, produced by "Amphibious All-Terrain Vehicle Plant" LLC, was presented at an exhibition in St. Petersburg.
The version presented at the exhibition is called "north bus" - a "bus" for Arctic territories. Where "Ural" and "Kamaz" can't pass, this kind of equipment is used.
The vehicle is equipped with a powerful diesel engine, wide-profile low-pressure tires, and an insulated cabin. The all-terrain vehicle is suitable for long-term autonomous operation even in remote areas.
According to the manufacturer, such vehicles are particularly in demand in the oil and gas industry, as well as among geological exploration and drilling companies. Vehicles with these characteristics are also used in rescue services.
The cost of serial "north buses" ranges from 18 to 19.5 million rubles.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the first Arctic hydrogen-powered all-terrain vehicle was presented in Russia.
