The international championship in algorithmic programming "RuCode" ended on October 19. The final was held at 44 venues in Russia and in 5 neighboring countries.
The event was included in the "Russian Book of Records" as the most massive: it was attended by 1885 people, united in 787 teams. Participants solved algorithmic problems for 5 hours, earning points for correct and effective solutions. The winners of all divisions were Russian teams: senior division — "BasketBobr", middle division — "chu65536", junior division — "team404".
Teams from Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan took part in the competition. Applications for participation were submitted by almost 10 thousand people from 50 countries, and the qualifying stage lasted from July to September.
