The Russian armored demining vehicle BMR-3M "Vepr", manufactured by Uralvagonzavod (part of the Rostec Group), is reliable and efficient in operation. The special equipment of the engineering troops is capable of withstanding the explosion of 6 TM-62 anti-tank mines and 15 TM-72 mines. This was reported by a serviceman of the Russian Armed Forces with the call sign Sova.
It is designed for laying paths and continuous demining. Mostly anti-tank mines are encountered. The machine is very reliable.
Servicemen of the engineering troops use not only BMR-3M "Vepr". During the inspection and demining of the territory, soldiers use robotic systems, advanced mine detectors and engineering probes.

The armored demining vehicle was developed on the basis of the main battle tanks T-72 and modifications of the T-90. The BMR-3M "Vepr" also received enhanced mine protection.
