VK Cloud, Yandex Cloud, and the company "Flant" are creating the Association of Cloud-Oriented Technologies (AOT) — the first organization in Russia that will focus on developing independent standards and architectures in the field of cloud solutions. The association will not be tied to a specific service provider and will unite companies using cloud technologies, as well as individual IT specialists.
According to VK Cloud, the main tasks of AOT are to help businesses use cloud technologies more effectively, develop open and free software solutions, and form unified approaches and rules for their implementation. Both large companies and independent experts will be able to participate in the organization.
The press service of VK Cloud reported that the Association of Cloud-Oriented Technologies will become a platform for exchanging experience and creating a unified space where developers and companies can jointly promote domestic cloud solutions.
The first event of the new organization will be the non-commercial Kuber Conf by AOT conference, which will be held on December 4 in Moscow.
