Sber, Alfa-Bank, and T-Bank have started developing a new payment system that will work without the use of conventional "plastic," with QR code payments, biometrics, and Bluetooth serving as the primary payment channels.
Currently, the concept of the payment system is being formed, which they plan to present to the Central Bank in the future. Other financial organizations will also be able to connect to the new platform.
Investments in the campaign may amount to about 10 billion rubles.
Experts note that the new system should not compete with "Mir".
