Combat small arms have been produced in Izhevsk for over 200 years and have become an integral part of the history of Russia and its military victories.
The presence of Izhevsk assault rifles in the exposition of the Central Museum of the Armed Forces is a significant step. It is important for us to preserve this heritage for future generations - the embodiment of brilliant design ideas and the result of the selfless work of all those involved in weapons production. For our part, we will make every effort to ensure that our soldier, defending the Motherland, holds the most reliable, high-quality and effective weapon in his hands.
