The IAC has formed a commission to investigate the plane crash, and it has begun its work.

Aviation services clarified that the crashed " кукурузник " had been in operation for 53 years. It made its first flight in mid-October 1972.

The aircraft was produced in Poland. Immediately after that, it was transferred to Siberia, where it has been flying for all these years in various airlines. The aircraft has been with the "Борус" airline since July 2019.

The Eastern Interregional Investigation Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee of Russia has opened a criminal case regarding the incident.
