Motorcycle Season Closing: Large-Scale Motorcycle Festival to be Held in Moscow

A motorcycle festival will be held in Moscow on September 27 to mark the closing of the motorcycle season, the Moscow Department of Transportation reported. Due to the event, traffic will be restricted on the outer side of the Garden Ring on September 26 and 27. Motorists are advised to plan their routes in advance.

From 11:40 on September 27, traffic will be closed on the following highways:

• Kosygina Street (towards Vorobyevskoe Highway);
• Bolshaya Dorogomilovskaya and Smolenskaya;
• Vorobyovskoe Highway;
• Berezhkovskaya Embankment;
• Outer side of the Garden Ring;
• Borodinsky Bridge and exits from it to Taras Shevchenko Embankment.

Traffic will be restored as the motorcycle column passes.

In addition, from 09:00 on September 26 to 07:00 on September 28, Universitetskaya Square (towards Universitetsky Prospekt) from Kosygina Street to Universitetsky Prospekt will be closed. On September 27, from 08:00 to 12:00, the far right lane on Universitetsky Prospekt in the area of Universitetskaya Square will be closed.

Also, from 08:00 to 19:00, traffic will be restricted on Kosygina Street from Michurinsky Prospekt to house 28, building 22, as well as on Universitetskaya Square from Universitetsky Prospekt to Kosygina Street. Closures on Kosygina Street (towards Vorobyevskoe Highway) will be in effect from 12:30 to 15:00 from house 28, building 22 to Michurinsky Prospekt.
