Первым обладателем нового российского минивэна Sollers SP7 стал Раис Татарстана

The car is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with a capacity of 237 horsepower

The Russian Sollers SP7 minivan, officially presented in October 2024, made its debut in its first production version at the inauguration ceremony of the Rais of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, in Kazan. Production of this model started in the Yelabuga region in July, and the head of the republic received it before the official sales began.

The Russian Sollers SP7 is an adapted version of the Chinese JAC Refine RF8 2023 minivan. The 5.2-meter long car is built on a platform with a transverse engine and front-wheel drive, offering a spacious three-row interior with 6 or 7 seats. Under the hood of the Russian assembly is a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with a capacity of 237 horsepower, working in tandem with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Although the engine marking N20TG coincides with the units for the Sollers ST9/ST9 SUV models, its configuration and electronic control have been changed.

The Russian market will receive a unique four-seater VIP version of the car, which will have two rows of seats, a partition behind the front seats, a multimedia screen, a refrigerator and a tablet. This distinguishes it from the Chinese model. As part of the production localization strategy, it is planned to produce turbo engines, gearboxes, electronic components, as well as interior and body parts. Initially, localization will affect tires, batteries, glass and plastic elements.
